Giving back ... one house at a time.

Recently Inspiro 8 Studios began working on a project in the Historic Hampton-Pickney District dowtown Greenville. In contributing to the City of Greenville's revitalization of the area, our studio had begun working with a local investor to refurbish one of the original row houses built in the area in the 1920's.

Time has definitely taken its toll on many of the residences in the area, many falling into disrepair over the past decades. However even in seeing this home in its roughest form, there is an formidable beauty and elegance that once made this home an exquisite place to live. In walking through the rough structure of the residence, there are many of the elements and details still present that makes these turn of the century homes have the character that draw so many people to them.

We have taken the time to inventory these details and now are beginning to work with a local builder to restore the home to its original beauty while implementing changes to the floor plan to accomodate what is needed for our modern lifestyles today. We are excited about this project and look forward to continuing to help with the revitalization of this area!

"There is an undiscovered beauty, a divine excellence, just beyond us. Let us tiptoe, forgetting nearer things, and grasp what we may." - Bernard Maybeck
